Thing made Lighter
A few years ago, I was packing for a weekend trip. Just a cozy cabin stay—nothing too wild. But I’m a reader, and I couldn’t decide which books to bring. So naturally… I brought five.
By the time I zipped up my backpack, it felt like I’d packed bricks. Between the clothes, toiletries, snacks, and those five chunky paperbacks, I was carrying a mini-library on my shoulders. My back wasn’t thrilled. Neither was airport security.
And of course—once I got there—I only read one of the books.
That trip taught me a simple lesson: carrying a bunch of physical books just isn’t efficient. Now? I use my Kindle. It’s lightweight, fits in my pocket, and holds hundreds of books. I can switch from fiction to nonfiction to poetry without adding an ounce to my bag.
If you’ve ever struggled to choose which book to bring, or if your shoulders have ever regretted your choices, I highly recommend making the switch.
